Driven by Detail Since 2004
OG Car World began in East London in 2004 as a small, hands on detailing business. Today we are an independent styling and protection studio in Ilford, home to a close knit crew of wrap installers, detailers and technicians who all work to the same eye for detail we started with.
We have never tried to be the biggest name around. We would rather take on fewer cars and do each one properly, with the right preparation, the right materials and as much time as the job genuinely needs.
Twenty years on, our customers range from first time owners protecting a brand new car to enthusiasts planning a full colour change. Many of them have trusted us with more than one car, and that is the result we are proudest of.
Our Mission, Vision & Promise
Three simple commitments that guide every decision we make, from the products we choose to the way we talk to our customers.
Our Mission
To protect and perfect every vehicle we touch, using premium products and expert craftsmanship, so our customers can enjoy their cars with complete peace of mind.
Our Vision
To be the name London's car owners think of first for wraps, paint protection and detailing, known for quality that lasts and service that feels personal.
Our Promise
Honest advice, clear pricing and work we stand behind. Every coating and film is backed by a manufacturer warranty of up to 10 years, fully documented at handover.
Twenty Years in the Making
The milestones that took OG Car World from a small East London detailing business to the Ilford studio our customers know today.
Where It All Started
OG Car World opened its doors in East London as a hands on detailing business. With no big marketing budget, every new customer came through a recommendation from friends, family and the local car community.
Beyond Detailing
Customers kept asking for more than a clean, so we trained in ceramic coatings, paint protection film and vinyl wrapping, choosing trusted brands such as Gtechniq and Avery Dennison.
Our Ilford Studio
Unit 7 in Ilford became our permanent base, with dedicated space for wrapping, paint correction and coating work, plus room for ambient lighting, retrofits and security installs.
Two Decades of OG
Twenty years on, we look after everything from first family cars to Lamborghinis, hold a 5.0 Google rating and welcome back customers who have trusted us with car after car.
What We Stand For
Great results come from great habits. These are the principles our whole team works by, on every car, every day.
- 01
Precision in Every Detail
We take our time. Every edge is tucked, every panel is checked under studio lighting and nothing leaves until it is right.
- 02
Honesty Over Upselling
We recommend what your car actually needs. If a cheaper option is the better choice, we will tell you.
- 03
Premium Products Only
We only use proven, manufacturer backed films and coatings. Cutting corners on materials is never an option.
- 04
Respect for Your Car
Your car is treated as if it were ours, from careful handling to a clean, secure and fully insured studio.
- 05
Always Learning
Products and techniques keep improving, and so do we. Ongoing training keeps our team at the front of the industry.
